**Pete Burns/Dead or Alive Cancels U.S. Tour**
Pete Burns (Dead or Alive) has cancelled his U.S. appearances this summer due to health reasons. According to Pete’s family Pete is receiving treatment and is on his way to recovery, but doctors are unwilling to commit that he'd be cleared to tour in time to start the U.S. dates July 25th; so rather than disappoint his fans at the last minute the decision has been made to postpone the dates now. Most of the shows will now have A Flock of Seagulls replacing Dead or Alive. |

Belinda Carlisle signs on to MTV’s new show Rock the Cradle as a judge
Get ready to Rock the Cradle! MTV is kicking off the search for the next superstar, shining the spotlight on children of rock stars who have waited their whole lives to make it big on their own ... and their chance starts now.
How's it work? Well, every week the contestants will step onto the stage and try to wow the judges, their parents -- and the viewers. And every week one of them will be sent packing after receiving scores from the judges: singer Belinda Carlisle, choreographer Jamie King, stylist June Ambrose and business mogul Larry Rudolph. There is a twist, though -- each week the contestant with the highest score will be safe from elimination and automatically move on to the next round. But, ultimately, viewers' votes will decide who stays and who goes. |
